Running Escapes Policies

Deposits |
|
To reserve your spot a deposit is required. The deposit fee is refundable for
cancellations made 60 days prior to the trip. The deposit can be made by check or credit card (via Paypal). The deposit must be received within 10 days or your spot on the team may be given away. Deposit fees vary by relay event but are usually near the event registration costs.
Once payment has been received you will be sent a confirmation email of the
payment. You will also be able to log into your profile and see payments made.

Trip Registration Closing |
|
Sign up for relay trip participation will close 30 days prior to the relay
event. We need 30 days to get all the details in line for the race.
At that time we will accept registrations for a sub list only. No deposit
will be due when you are placed on the sub list. If you are placed as a
sub you may not receive your size race shirt for either team or the event. |

Trip Payment |
|
The balance of the trip will be due 30 days prior to the trip. In the case
of some trips incremental payments may be due. |

|
Refunds and Cancellations |
|
Cancellations made
60 days or more prior to the event will receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations made 30 days prior to the event but less than 60 days will forfiet
the deposit but all other payments will be refunded.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event will not receive any
refund. The trip maybe transfered to a substitute runner for a charge of
$25 (there is usually a runner swap charge by the race). |

Trip Cancellations |
|
Unfortunantly sometimes we cannot fill teams. In this case Running Escapes reserves the right to cancel a trip upto 60 days prior to departure, in which
case, a full refund will be made (excluding any air travel booked outside the
package).
